These are from last weekends match up between the Missoula Phoenix and the Utah Wolverines. The Wolverines won by a score of 35-15. The light was diffused pretty well by clouds. Comments and criticism appreciated as always.

Any comments, criticism, praise or disgust from anyone? Should I take the lack of feedback that the set of images is boring and I need to find a way to capture more excitement?

Picture #4 is superb - shows the determination in the eyes to block the guy from tackling him.

What lens did you use for these shots?

Thanks for the feedback on the photos, it is appreciated. All of the images were taken with a 40D and the 100-400 L.

Love the action, crisp and sharp. HATE the watermarks...really distracting.

I agree about the watermarks, but the pictures are well done, nice and sharp.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm just trying out the watermarks and want something that will allow the photo to be viewed but also discourage people from just taking them for whatever use they please. This way I ensure that if they casually take them I least get some advertising out of it.
