I swam out with the water housing to shoot Matt Ratt (Santa Cruz Surfboards) and was in such a hurry to do so that I forgot to tighten a few nuts. There was water in the housing within a minute. Here is the one and only shot I took. The camera survived. I think I'll only make that mistake once.  Prescott, AZ

Kind of like leaving the plug out when launching your boat Canon 20D w/grip, 300D, Powershot SX100 w/HF-DC1 flash, Canon 70-200 f/2.8L, 85 f/1.8, 17-55 f/2.8 IS, 50 f/1.8, 580EX and some other stuff...

rippanics Member  126 posts Joined Nov 2006 Location: Kailua, Hawaii More info | Don't switch out your nylon wing nuts for Stainless steel, either use nylon lock nuts or stick with the nylon wing nuts. The Stainless will loosen if nugged and will just keep backing out, the nylon seems to have more grab on the screws and don't let go...... Mike R
