8GB RiData 233x $34.99 @ Frys

As the title says...a very good deal for those looking for a larger card. Had I not picked up a 4gb SD, I'd pick this one up.

Be careful with Frys. The last time (about a month or so ago) they had a "deal" on their cards, a few of us ordered only to have the order cancelled later that night due to "problems" with the inventory (thats what they said). But when I called them, I asked if it was pulled because of the price being so low and they kind of hemmed & hawwed and then said they could substitute for another size card. When asked about offering for the same price they said they could not do that.

Felt like a bait & switch move to me.

I bought two 8 GB Ridata compact flash cards at www.newegg.com. Both have very fast transfer speeds and no problems working in my rebel XT. I paid $34.99 for one and $36.99 for the other. No tax and shipping was ~$5.

its called they made a price mistake and did not want to lose money

I have ordered many things from them and never once had a problem, the problem is someone finds these deals post it on sites like slickdeals and then next thing they have a thousand orders and they have no choice but to cancel them because they cant deal with the volume of the sales.

Too bad you can't just walk into a Frys store and get them. A few people got it and are quite happy. I don't need it but thinking of picking one up as well just because they are so cheap.

Just bought a 2gb sandisk ultra ii for $15 a few days ago. Might pick up one of these just cause it's so cheap.

The sale was over today. I just went and got one afterwork since they are so cheap. Normal price on the price tag is $89. The Lexar 8gb 133x, which I also have, is listed for $99.

schweet I just ordered one, crappy 6 bucks shipping but still not a bad deal at 42 bucks, it will work great with my 5D that I dont need a ton of speed for anwyay

I went to frys today and they tried to charge me 64.99 for this thing.

I'm ordering from newegg for 34.98 and I suggest other people do the same.
