have 20D compatible batteries for £9.99 (no VAT needed). Now, they are only 1200mah so I'm not sure how long they will last - anyone any experience here ?

FlyingPete I am immune More info | Dec 13, 2004 14:26 | #2 I run my 20D sometimes on an older Canon 1100Mah battery from my G3, no issues with it except that it obviously doesn't last as long, got around 500 shots out of it on the weekend. Peter Lowden.

The only info on it is: J-BP511 7.4V LI-ION BATTERY PACK 1250mAh (on a white sticker) *Assembled in Taiwan* Hmmm, I have a number of 1300Mah's inbound from the states, I will check them all when they arrive. The Canon battery I have is 1100MAh, and the generic 1300s last noticable longer. The newest ones with the highest capacity tend to last longer, in terms of numbers of shots fired, and they also seem to self-discharge less than the older funky ones. Well, at least we don't have to pay $60 each for them like it was two or so years ago.
