Finally my lens has arrived. This afternoon. But I am not shooting anything before the 7D's arrival, which should happen soon.

7D with 400 F 5.6 for birds
5D Mk II with 24-70 for everything else

My first shots with my new 11-16 tokina. I like this lens a lot, very sharp and great build quality.

Today actually I am buying it from a brick and mortar shop.

What happens if the zoom wheel is accidentally turned to 11 before activating the shutter? (I fear it is a risk that a 5D owner probably would not want to take).
