What happens if the zoom wheel is accidentally turned to 11 before activating the shutter? (I fear it is a risk that a 5D owner probably would not want to take).

Nothing? The image will just have a horrible vignette to it.

there are tons of images on my flickr using this lens on a full frame camera. (external link)

unlike canon ef-s lenses, this tokina does NOT protrude into the mirror box, so there is no interference.

in my experience the hard vignette comes in at 14.5mm. anything from 14.5-16 does not show the hard line.

Two HDR shots from my visit to Madison Square Garden on monday for the Knicks vs Orlando game:

This is a block away from the Garden. You can see the tower in the center is part of the complex.

Is it this lens, or just the subjects that I have been shooting with it recently, that make me want to put the camera (practically) down on the ground for the shot? :)
I think this lens would be a really good fit for the 60D with the flip out screen. :)
I was not looking through the viewfinder when I snapped this. I just lined the camera up with the guidelines on the ground and..

This is a 9-11 memorial in Jersey City right across the river from where the towers stood.

This lens should be a perfect fit with 60D and its articulating screen no doubt about it ! ;)

Edit: Looking at it now, I needed to straighten it. Done, but it won't reflect here.

nice shot, did you have to sneak in your camera? i hear nba is the most anal of all pro sports with people taking pictures with slr's.

Ive gotten not only my camera but my whole bag into several different games at US Airways in Phoenix and the Target Center in MN. I got a little heck for having the bag period in Phx, and a bit of it too for having my 100L in MN but I found out that different guards have different standards, one lady was not letting me in no matter what with the lens because it was "too big" and I tried another guard and he let me through without any questions... I always go plenty early just in case though.

Just received mine:

Unbelievable lens. Amazing build quality, smooth zoom and smooth focus ring. Amazing optics.

Nope ive ever had an issue in MSG. I put my sigmalux on my 7D. I take off the grip. I walk in with camera in had. I show them my bag. They see the tokina in there. No issue. And i walk right in. :D
