For those of you who shoot frequently with this lens, how often do you find yourselves using f2.8 and at 11mm? I'd love to get an UWA lens not just for landscapes and buildings, but also for close up and a bit of exaggerated perspectives.

I was debating on the Sigma 10-20 (and now the Sig. 8-16 also came into the picture), but don't know if f4 + would be limiting on the Sigmas, or the 11mm FL be limiting on this Tokina.

For some reason, the Tok 12-24mm never really did it for me; can't really put my finger to it...

Any advice would be great.

I just got this lens a few days ago and I love it so far. Here are a few shots I've taken since I got the lens on Thursday.

Straight jpegs right out of the camera. Not edited in anyway.

Yahh.. It was a painful task. Searched and contacted all Tokina authorized dealers from here:

Finally got the last one for $599 from one of them.

Felt guilty about not having used this lens lately so I took it out today for some shots in the woods. Unfortunately the colours came out very yellow and I have yet to fiddle with them so I did this instead:

A different perspective of a cat.. f/2.8 @ 11mm I would have liked a bit better DOF, but it was quite dark and the cat couldn't sit still so I had to shoot wide open.

Here are a few more from Sedona with my new Tokina! So far this lens is not coming off my camera.

All the night shots below were shot hand held around 1600 ISO from my 7D
