Hello all, This is my first post here. I recently purchased a 12 megapixel, A650 IS. Killer camera, for close up, indoor shots. My son is in Little League, and I have been trying to get some good shots, from across the field. I'm still really green at photography. Any pointers on how to get long distance shots to come out without being grainy? What settings should I be using?

Thanks, Paul

Keep your ISO low. Do NOT use digital zoom...optical only. You may have to use the walk zoom to get the shots you want. (that is your legs)
Steady the camera with both arms tucked in against your gut. Hold your breath for a moment as you shoot.
Have fun!
