Opening it even to f4 would still give you some margin for error and allow you to more than double your shutter speed with better isolation to boot. nice images but I agree on the timing issue as well. The image above for instance...try nailing to one right as the ball is being delivered and I think you'll see a lot more dramatic image. Scott Evans Photography
