not trying to be a dick here, but when somebody says something something has 'no point', it typically means they just don't get it, and that is not my fault.
Nw85887- i love high contrast sun light!!! lol, but wow i can't believe yall are getting sun in the 210... thats just 3 hours from me, and i had 2 tornadoes touch down less than a mile away from my house today. send some sun up north!
I like #1 & #3 allot. I'm like Gail and really like old rusty stuff. Maybe thats cause it hits close to home
But anyway I say keep play'n with the motion stuff. I think #3 really captures the movement and feel very well. I also like the crop. When you work like this theres going to be a large group of people that are not going to like it but thats OK.
Also Haas has some very rich colors on some of his other work. Sometimes right before sunrise, right after sunset and on very heavy overcast days something with the way that the ultra violet light can become more visible to our eyes really will enrich color and produce a very special quality of light. You can actually get richer more vibrant color sometimes than when theres bright direct sun.
Heres one of my all time favs by Haas sorry its motion again

Heres a couple more note the light and the color saturation.
