I am ready to upgrade my XTi most likely to the 40D.
However the XSi has some nice features also, like the full time screen display like the XTi has.
Money is not an issue.
Looking at the features of the XSi compared to the XTi is it even worth considering?
Just thought I would ask.
Thanks.

40D hands down.
You will love it and you can't go wrong.

Owned the XTi, then upgraded to the 40D.

After playing around with an XSi at Best Buy, I can't see going from an XTi to XSi.

40D in a heartbeat.

40d for me too. I went to best buy the other day, held the XSi then held the 40d and just from holding it, if all the specs were the same, I would get the 40d no question. But the specs arent the same, the 40d is a better camera overall.

But I have big hands, my gripped XT still feels small.

ok, so everybody i schoosing 40D
while i myself used to be in your position before,
and i choose 450D cause i'll bring it everday and on my holiday together with a handycam.
it weigh less and smaller, so caryying it won't be as heavy as carrying a 40D

and from reviews on the net the performance in high ISO noise also not bad considering it have bigger MP :P

so i dun regret my decisision of buying 450D over 40D.

The advantage of the 450D over the 40D is when not using it, only carrying it.

if you are worried that the camera will be too heavy and if money is not an issue, hire someone to carry it for you. :P
