Just got back from a long trip to South Carolina for another professional paintball event, here are some of my favorite shots:

Is the ref in the first one clocking the speed of the ball?

He's making sure that the gun is shooting less than 13.3 balls per second - the guns in PSP are capped at that.

The ref is checking the velocity of the balls, its a radar gun I think. There is also a ref on the sideline with a parabolic mic hooked up to a PACT timer to check rate of fire. Its serious business.

This photo illustrates very well why I have plenty of welts...

ah man i love paintball..was >< that close to getting on a pro team but it just didnt work out the way i needed it too. some great captures there. really shows the intensity of the game. i need to get back into it. damn you!

Really like the two shots of the exploding paintballs on the guns. But the best IMHO is the facemask shot!

Heh, for whatever reason I thought those had both functions on them....chronograph and timer. Whoops.

I want to get back into it. The last time I played I slide into a spike they left in the ground behind the bunker. About 60 stitches and a torn acl.

yep PSP lowered the ROF to promote more aggressive play. I need to start playing again as well.

My favorite is the white framed I3 Pro picture.
