OK, so after talking a bit last week about species specific threads, I decided to put my money where my idea was and start a thread. this thread is dedicated to the "Yellow Crowned Sparrow". If you have a picture of one please post it.

I will count on somone more knowledgable then myself to weed out the ones that are not YCP's...lol

Always feel free to Cc my posts, I cant speak for others who post pictures of YCS here. I was thinking more in terms of a species ID or catalog of pictures of a certain species, not so much a CC thread. But Cc on mine is always welcome...

It is actually called a golden-crowned sparrow. If you look a few threads down you will see one that I started this morning. (actually last night)

Not nearly as gorgeous as the photos above, but my husband got this big guy with my Canon today. Thanks to this thread and Google Images I have been able to identify his species!
