How would you photograph 2 people next to each other w/ space in between them in a very low light situation? I usually use center point AF and recompose, will it work in that situation?

Any thoughts?

Yes, i do that all the time. It's the reason cameras have the capability to AF-lock, so you can recompose in these very situations.
