Thanks so much for the kind comments
I appreciate you taking the time to look.

I just got the canon speedlight and Gary Fong Diffuser for mother's day. Couldn't wait to try them out. I'm really pleased with the results.

This is a really pretty composition and a beautiful subject, but it's a bit underexposed/flat and has some pinky color cast issues. :)

Thanks Andrea. The original was a little pale so I bumped the saturation a touch.
Still getting use to the settings with the fill flash outdoors.
:)
I'll have to check the white balance with the new flash. I usually leave it on "auto".

Winter seemed to last forever here this year!
I was just thrilled to see the tulips finally emerge.

I like the shot!

I too leave my camera, 90% of the time in AWB and don't have any issues.

How do you like the Gary Fong?

Thanks Christopher,
That's good to know. I was researching "White Balance" to use with flash.

The Gary Fong diffuser is everything I thought it would be.
I had a self made diffuser over my old flash and it just didn't look very professional. Plus it would get crushed in my camera bag.

I did a shoot at the weekend for prom photos. Low light setting. The results were terrific...although I still got some confused looks as to the tupperware on my flash. :)
