Seems a lot of the recent photos I've taken have been rather blurry/out of focus. Everything has been handheld, but I've been doing my best to obey the 1/focal length rule (taking into account the 1.6x). Now, it could just be that I have all 9 focus points turned on and my camera is not picking the one I wanted it to pick, but after taking a few photos on a focus test (which I know aren't perfectly accurate either), I'm curious if my camera is actually having some focus problems.
I have to post this photo as a link because it's too big for the message board rules, but if you all get a chance, could you take a look at this photo and tell me what you think? It's shot in an incandescent lit room with no flash, Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 at f/1.8, ISO 100, 2 second timer so I could get my hands off the camera before the shutter opened.
Here's the link
. The photo is at 100% crop (maybe I'm just expecting too much). The lens itself has produced excellent photos on my 300D body, so I'm doubting its the lens itself.
Thanks in advance!
