Hi Karen

With the damage to this succulent, the image appeared uninteresting especially with the central placement. exposure is ok but maybe needs a little sharpening.

I had a play and came up with the following

Cleared up some of the damage
Rotated thro 90 degrees
Cropped so plant is slightly off-centre
Slight levels and colour saturation work
Sharpened

Any help to you??

This succulent is damaged I agree, but they get that way....The way you have it centered as mentioned is not the best either...they make for a better shot with the rosettes all crowded in the shot?

Heavy crop , levels adjustment....
