Will I struggle?

Ok so its my Mums Wedding tomorrow, and of course, she wants me to do the photos. I dont have major experience with people but its not that im worried about. I have a 430EX Flash, but dont know enough about it to use it. Do you think I will struggle in and outside (if its not raining) without it? Or could I get away with using the Manual Modes?

Its not in a Church, more Registry Office.

Read up on bouncing your flash (if flash is allowed indoors), keep in Manual, and you'll manage. Remember to expose for ambient light if you can (i.e. keep the ISO high and the shutter speed and aperture moderate)! Outside, if it's light enough, you might have better luck sticking in Av/Tv.

To expose for ambient light - is the achieved by a slower shutter speed? Should any type of bounce indoor (home) photography be exposed for ambient light?

Typically, yes - a slower shutter speed and wider aperture will allow more ambient light in.

I'm hardly an expert on flash and it's quite a subjective thing, but I feel exposing for ambient light and then using the flash for bounced fill makes a world of difference compared to the straight-on dark-background-and-bright-subject approach!

I think it went quite well. Seeing as ive lost my 70-200. I turned my room upside down looking for it, and didnt in the end. Why the hell wasnt it in my bag? Still havent found it.

I lost my iPod Touch during my trip in Denver. Almost cried. But the 70-200 is a great lens, and I hope you find it.
