Trip to Minneapolis/St. Paul and KC Chiefs Training Camp

I am planning on taking my boys to the KC Chiefs training camp in a couple of months in River Falls, WI. We are spending a night in DesMoines and the remaining few days in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

I am looking for 'must stop' areas for photo opportunities in Iowa and the Minneapolis/St. Paul/River Falls area, in addition to any information on the KC Chiefs training camp.

Currently we are planning on going to the zoo near St. Paul for one stop.

the como zoo? that's a fun place. the twin cities has a lot of great photo spots. I'd definately stop down by the mill city ruins/stone arch bridge/lock and dam/st. anthony falls area - a lot of cool things to photograph in that area. That's also right next to the 35w bridge collapse site. the sculpture garden in the uptown area is pretty cool too. downtown st. paul is always interesting - especially the waterfront on the mississippi imo, cool bridges. minnehaha falls is another good spot.
