EDIT: Unfortunately all my original image links are now broken. My photographs are now hosted at Flickr and on my website. Links to both of these sites are in my signature section.

Apologies for any broken image links that are now showing in any of my threads or posts.

Thanks,

Mike

:-)

Looks like a beautiful place. I really like how you show us the light in #2, the diffusion through the trees. Lovely. #4 if quite exceptional also. I think it could be done a bit differently; the middle branch blocks my view :) I would like to see more of the flowers framed by the tree. Nit Pick.

Thanks Cobra, Jeremy and Joayne. :-)

I was trying to capture the effect of the early evening light through the woodland canopy and also the various contrasts provided by the direct sunlight coming through some of the gaps.

Joayne, the middle branch was intentional! I probably should have concentrated more on the bluebells, but I was trying to capture the light hitting the tree and also position it so it divided the frame nicely. :-)

Nice. I think the key with these shots is to avoid bright spots of sky and so I think #1 works the best.
