Wanted to head over to the Harold Hunter Day skate jam here in NYC on Saturday. I gather in a skate jam or contest setting chances are the wide angle lens will not be the lens of choice right?

I guess wide angle it is. I just always thought considering you'll be standing further away from a subject in a skate jam/contest it wouldn't make sense using a wide angle.
