I'm so excited. I shot the MathCounts competition in Denver this weekend and the 12 year old who won the Countdown Round is going to be on Regis & Kelly tomorrow. Here is the link:

And this is the website that uses my pictures.

This young man was amazing and I have a picture I took with him:

Never could get him to smile.

Maybe he'll smile for Regis and Kelly. Congrats on the pics.

The Texas team was really focused. They worked during all the breaks. But this young man beat the top written test competitor, Bobby Chen, who won 2 of the 3 different rounds and just lost the Countdown Round by 1 point. Both were really smart. Here is a picture of Bobby.

Bobby is a very nice young man. His mom sent me a nice note thanking me for printing out the pictures for her and their team. Bobby's team from Texas won the team prize. They got all 10 problems right. First time I've ever heard of that.

Suzie,

Looking good :) It is so rewarding to see young folks excel like that. I salute you for helping them :)

Some of the parents were interesting, but for the most part, it was fun. I enjoyed my sons the most, though. My oldest helped me shoot and he took that first one. Unfortunately, he focused on the butterfly. It's a little bit OFF.
