Thank you all. I think it's a beautiful area out here. I don't have this rural setting where I live so I have to take advantage of it on my lunches. The CP works wonders at combating the harsh light of the noon sun.

LD, you have taken a rather mediocre scene, a not very attractive meandering river with an ugly bank and turned it into an "object d'art".

Way to go my friend.

I'm sorry I didn't mean too

Thank you for such kind words chauncey. It's been so long since we've had such a nice day that I was seeing things a heck of a lot more beautiful than they actually were :)

I expressed myself rather poorly and I'm sorry.

You have a way of improving reality while being subtle about it.

Haha now I feel bad. I was just kidding around with you. I took what you said as a great compliment.

Edit: Isn't text wonderful for subtle humor? :D

Expertly done. Nothing to critique, so I'll just try to describe the things I like most.....

The scene is awesome. The anchors work very well--I can't imagine a better composition. The saturation is just bearly enough for my tastes. There appears to be selective sharpening at play, but it's very subtle. Actually, all of your PP is subtle and unobtrusive. Very well executed.

Cheers,
mj

Good eye. The water and mountains have a high radius low amount sharpening, while the foliage has conventional sharpening.
