If you have to carry your photographic gear with you all day, every day, for many many weeks. You will be doing a great many things, but photography is definitely one of them.
What would be your weight limit for the all your photographic gear?

My whole gear list fits into one backpack and can carry it around with no problem. If I do want to travel light, I will pick up one lens for each body and both flashes and remove the rest. I'll bet if you weigh it, it's close to double that - even without batteries, blower, manuals, etc.

It definitely gets heavy at the end of the day, but it depends on the activities during the day and how many hours we're talking. I try to bring less though, typically - by taking what I need for the day in a 7MDH. But even that can get heavy after eight hours! La Vida Leica!
