Not sure if this should be here, or the birds section - Mods please move if in wrong place.

I went for a stroll around Edinburgh Zoo (external link) a few weekends ago, to stretch my legs and get the camera out after its long winter holidays

A bit of levels adjustments, some work with the patch tool and some vignetting.

Image data:
Camera: Canon 350D
Lens: EF 24-105 mm F/4L IS USM @28mm
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/100

Works well for me but I've always had a soft spot for Penguins.
The bubbles give it the perfect sense of place. Did you have to do a great deal of color correction?

cool photo, was it shot under water? and if so, is it difficult taking pics under water? hard to focus?

Thanks for the comment. As for colour correction, I just adjusted the levels in Lightroom and did some patch tool work in Photoshop to bring it up. Not much work, 10 - 15 mins at most.

Thank you. No it was shot outside of the tank on a bright sunny day. The windows of the tank were a little dirty, but Lightroom and a little Photoshop rescues the image.
