I wouldn't be ETTL in this setup; I want to force the amount of light myself.

Fair enough use IR and manual with the flash guns, it's all about alternatives. However I've had success with similar rigs with e-TTL with no exposure issues.

However I would prefer studio lighting for this set up, more power/flexibility.

Faolan, I would too, but I need a third D4 for that to work- which also means another $400 check from my CFO. I can tell ya, ain't gonna happen. "It's all about alternatives" right:)

BTW- my local Lowes has 36" bi-fold Luann doors for $7.57 for a set of 2 doors on clearance. Luann isn't the best wood, but who cares? they are <$8.00 a set!

edit: I now have a Sekonic 358 in my bag also!!!!!:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:
