The PHOTOSECRETS website has just so much information that it is hard to describe.

When I accessed this site from Google; I just wanted information on Andrew Hudson's wonderful line of PHOTOSECRETS books. I have two of them and consider them top-line guides to photography in various areas. I am a native of San Diego County, California but, I learned a lot about photographing this area from PHOTOSECRETS SAN DIEGO. As an example, I located a little known public staircase from which there is a wonderful view of San Diego Bay. I had been seeking this view for years but, had driven right past the staircase multiple times. It's just such information that makes PHOTOSECRETS books worthwhile.
The PHOTOSECRETS YOSEMITE book will allow you to plan a day of shooting in that wonderfully photogenic area and hit the best light for the fantastic views. I guess that you wouldn't need this book if you had weeks or months to wander through the Yosemite Valley like Ansel Adams did but, most of us have to cram in all we can see and photograph in a day or, at best, a few days.
I was astounded at the wealth of information contained in the PHOTOSECRETS website:
