Regardless of video, I did not understand exactly what the problem with your camera was.
Why don’t you try to explain it in your own words?

However, I suspect that you do not know how to change exposure parameters.
I suggest A) reading the Instruction Manual (several times if necessary) with the camera in your hands, and B) visiting these two sites:

Also, where did you buy the camera. Many Online sellers are black/grey market. and NOT true canons OR are refurbished and claim as new.

I’ve never heard of counterfeit Canon cameras!
Gray market only means that the camera was not imported by the authorized Canon distributer for the given country..

I am very hesitant to believe that there are people selling knock off or fake cameras. Its just too much work to create something like that.

Gray market is warranty related, not the actual camera.

To the OP: as far as I can tell, your camera is lowering its shutter speed due to the lack of light. Thats totally normal. You can raise your ISO or use a faster lens to get a faster shutter speed in low light.

Shooting with the Canon 5D & Nikon D300... and now the 20D!

Inks, toners, batteries, yes, but never cameras.
I’d like to hear what other member have to say on that subject and to learn something new, but I’ve never heard of fake cameras..

It doesn't help that your left hand thumb is holding down the freaking flash!

The reason it's going "slower" is because it's taking longer exposures. This is normal. It's hard to tell if the lighting is the same in the two segments, but if you're in the green box mode, and haven't adjusted ISO, then I would guess the second segment is in a darker room. It also looks like you're holding down the flash, which would explain the "twitching"....

I was about to say.. it sure does look like that in the video.

Tyler, please do try to explain the problem a little better after you take your thumb off the flash! ;)

Instead of using your time worrying, practice instead. Here are some lessons:

This is interesting .
''Entire Canon CAMERAS are counterfeited also. You can visit the Tradekey website (the counterfeit internet capital of the world) and see numerous counterfeit Canon items being sold such as: EOS Mark III SLR cameras & kits and SD30 Powershots. They come with Canon boxes, software, booklets....anything you would normally get with a Canon camera. Ebay sellers buy from sources such as this and then turn around and sell them here on Ebay. Here are a couple of fake Canon cameras being sold right now out of China from a seller who only accepts Western Union (another red flag of a fake item.
