Hello POTN,

Well, as usual, I am back with another B/W that needs critiquing. I took this photo of these stairs today on campus at Santa Clara University in the new library between classes just in case anybody was wondering where this was taken. All comments and criticisms are welcomed. Thanks :D

Kyle

exposure/conversion is very good. However, I'm standing on my head trying to figure out which way is up. I think it requires a bit too much thought and consideration for my taste. Is there a mirror on the ceiling?

Makes one dizzy trying to sort out the perspective, but after a while, it comes. Probably would be easier to grasp everything more quickly in color.

I would think that there would be some greater thought in the image (beyond trying to look like Escher). But just as an excercise in the tonalities of B & W, it does fine.

Somewhat interesting!

Thanks for all of the honest criticism. I actually didnt realize until it was mentioned that the stairs could be pointing in either direction. I was on the bottom floor looking up when I took this photo. There arent any mirrors or anything, and you can follow the hand railing on the left hand side of the photo in the bottom third if you need help orienting youself.
