I saw other videos on YouTube but for some reason they didn't seem to show me the easiest way. They were either simply showing off or made it look more complicated than it really is.

Even if this only helps one person, I'll consider it to have been worthwhile.

THANKYOU. Mine arrived just now and after beating myself in the face with it as soon as I pulled it out of the packaging (that was rather a surprise) I couldn't figure out how to get the damn thing back in its package.

This is the first search result and after pausing the slow-mo section a couple of times I've now got it. Thanks very much!

That's why I made the video. I just received mine on Thursday I believe it was, and I opened up and BAM! "oops...shoulda paid attention to how that thing came open," I thought. I broke a sweat and had to take a shower after trying to do it the hard way.

Sad part it's so simple once you figure it out.

I was tearing my hair out. I already owned 3 of these F'in things in smaller sizes, how could this big one be so different? One video, one minute, one moment of clarity... I went back down to the garage and made it happen on the second attempt. YES!!! YES I SAY!!! Had these directions been packaged with the item, I would gladly have paid $10 more for it. Some people find the solutions to puzzles rather intuitively. I don't. First time I went on a location shoot with my 6 foot Impact reflector, I had to have the model's boyfriend figure it out. Tell me THAT wasn't humiliating...

Thanks for posting this - you can be assured you made a difference.

Awesome, biglew! :D

Do me a favor and give it a good rating so Google likes it more. :)

What reflector is that? Looks cool, and a lot more portable than foam core.

It's just a generic double sided one I got on eBay. I think I paid 15 bucks for it.

Thank you very much. I need to bookmark this link. Everytime I use my reflector no one can fold it back up.
