Q for Mark II (either/or) Users

Quick Questions:

Does the Mark II that you know have interchangable focussing screens? Have you used that feature? How easy / hard is it to swap them out?

I can only answer questions one and two;
1. YES! They all have interchangeable screens. (1 series digitals)
2. No I've never tried that feature

It's easy to swap them. I'm happy with the one which comes with 1d so I don't have any need to change it, but if you want to change it, it's really easy to do it.

I have the EC-B and EC-D screens and they come with a tool that makes swapping them out very easy and quick.

I can confirm the 1DsMkII allows you to change focus screens. It took me about 2 minutes to change the one that came with it out for an Ec-b sceen.

I popped the focusing screen out of my Mk II once just to see how easy/difficult it was. It was easy.

I did not try another focusing screen in its place.
