$75,000 to reprint yearbooks for one high school? McKinney isn't a big city. I'm totally lost on how it could cost that much to reprint even a few thousand yearbooks. Hmm.

I wonder if some of that money is for damages of some sort to the school and the students?

Enrollment is 2400 students (external link), thats $31.25 per book, assuming every kid bought one.

And I know I paid more than that for mine way back when (the early 80's:cry:)

That's a pretty good sized school and from a sample of yearbooks in my area, $31.25 is in the right price range for a yearbook. We sell yearbooks at our school for $35 and we rarely make more than $1000 profit which I always use on new photography equipment.

Seems like a reasonable price, not to mention the publisher has to expedite the process and shipping.

Canon 1D3, Sigma 70-200 f2.8, Sigma 120-300 f2.8 (sale), 1.4x converter, 580EX.

Wow, I went to a "ghetto" school in Houston and paid more than $50 every year...
