Get to the FLASH POINT, Triggers!!

Instead of waitng for the "soon to come out" Alien Bee triggers I was wondering what you all thout of the FLASHPOINT 4 channel trigger system. I found them for under $50 at Adorama.

I'm using them with my flashpoint strobes and they work great. Don't know if they will work with ABs or not.

I don't see why it wouldn't work with Alienbees. If you buy it, I would be curious to see a sync speed test like this, as well as a range (distance) test.

I think the range the claim is 90'. Per my test, it's about half that.

Had the same prob as the tests with synch. 250th gave me slight dark at bottom of the frame. 200th works perfect though.

They will fail to fire the flash every once in a while, but recently used a friends PWs that did the same thing.

At the time I bought my lights, I couldn't afford PWs, so it was this or a cable. For $50 I have no regrets.
