Just got my new Canon 10-22 UWA/ Wow!

All I can say is that I absolutely love this lens. It's very sharp, great color and contrast and at 10mm it is just amazing. Wide is very cool.

This lens seems to have a major following on this forum. I'm thrilled to join the ranks of the 10-22 devotees.

I did find it a little strange to use. You can walk up to a subject, get only a foot or two away from it and still take in a huge field of view. This will take a little getting used to, but I like it a lot.

This lens is definitely a keeper. :smile: Thanks to all who recommended it.

I love mine as well. Don't get me wrong, though, there are other great choices for a crop-sensor UWA. I just came across my 10-22 first, and grabbed it before it got away.

I know what you mean about having to get up close. I still sometimes find myself lifting the camera to my eye, and finding that I'm sometimes way to far from my subject to get the composition I'm looking for. :D
