Osprey in flight with fish and on a limb with fish. First time seeing and Photographing this bird and I saw four differnt ones in the same day.

Nice set Mike. Odd that it's your first sighting though. Ospreys were the first big birds I saw when I worked in Washington. Saw an Osprey dive into the water and thought it was an Eagle having a heart attack. :lol:

Thank you. I think I have been concentrating on the Eagles so much that I haven't been in the right areas to see them but know that I have I want more :)

Maybe they hang out where the eagles don't? I don't know that, but not sure the two would get along in the same lake. :)

They do Fish the same Areas around here and often will Challenge each other for fish, The Osprey can out manuver the Eagle in the Air. Good Catch Mike!!!

Thank you Gary, most of my Eagle shots are on the river or the bay at low tide.
