Photograpahy competitions

Whats the best place to keep an eye out for local/national photography competitions?

Magazines? - i buy a few
Online - I have no idea where to look.
Local newspapers - i've seen one comp so far.

Anywhere else?

Also, if submitting for a comp, border or no border? What you reckon?

Seriously though, I have been looking for the past few months and really only found one that I was interested in that offered anything more than the chance to give away your picture.
