I like the second one, but maybe you could clone out the wording on the shirt.

Randy, nice job on both of these. you did well on the amount of flash for the ambient. You could crop the second a bit tighter on the bottom and still have a nice shot.

Like this: (I boosted the colors a bit too, maybe too much.)

Nice job with these and Hawk, I like your edit.. Randy, I like the 1st but the bg is a little busy.. I love the color though. I really like the 2nd shot.. Nice work and a handsome young man you have there. :)

I agree a tiny bit with Heather on the BG for #1, but there's no way to crop it out without losing his lower half. but... a soccer player needs his bottom half.

BTW- that was a quick preset in LR2.0 beta

Yes, I agree with you Hawk, you would not want to crop out the bottom. I was just thinking for future shoots maybe have a lower f/stop to blur out the bg a little. Not to much but just a little.

But again I love the shot and think it very much a keeper and I LOVE the lighting.. Nice work.. :)

Randy, I haven't seen anything, and I'm using it for 90% of my exposure adjustments.
