Learning how to use a flash...(any sites?)

Are there any sites that help teach how to use flash? I am new to using flashes as most of my work is done outdoors (motorsports, surfing, etc...) so haven't really used flashes much.
I have checked out strobist but they dont seem to really show how to set flashes, and teach about the different settings etc.. (unless I missed that somewhere)
So was just wondering where a good place online to go to learn how flashes work, about settings etc...
