To me these both look far to dark, and the eyes look lifeless. The only shadowing I see is on the face from the tassle. There is also some weird PP work on the background which is distracting me. On the first one its by the right arm bend, and on the second one its near the hat thingy, also on his right. The first pose to me looks a bit fem with the way he is holding the diploma. In the second one he just looks far to sad for someone who is granduating and starting a whole new life. Unless that is all a bit scary for him, which hey, it might be. :lol:

Thank you for the comments. He is my son and was being directed by my wife (his mom). He absolutely hates having his picture taken—and it shows. I too thought they were a little dark. My wife likes them and this is what she wanted so she is happy. And of course he is happy because it is over!
