Ok, I guess this is stretching it as far as photography, but I set up an outdoor web cam on my bird feeders. It's located at http://www.feedercam.overlookcircle.org/ (external link) and updates every 30 seconds. Here we see downy and red-bellied woodpeckers, and an oriole on the mealworm feeder. Pretty cool, because now I can watch my bird feeders from work!

Believe it or not, the orioles have turned out to be quite the mealworm fanatics. They eat so much I can't keep the dish full! There is a jelly feeder, it's right between the two oranges. There's a little cup that hangs down in the middle of that feeder.

Someone already emailed me a capture which showed an indigo bunting. ;)

Heh, I wish! Hopefully it will show up when I'm actually at home some time. At least now I can add it to my yard list. ;)

Mine have disappeared. They were here for several days, then nothing. I have no idea where they went.

Maybe they're nesting? My nuthatches disappeared for a long time, and now I'm finally seeing them again.

Hah, yes that was me! First thing I did when I got home was put some mealworms out. Those orioles and chickadees go through them really quick. And now that I have this up for the whole world to see, I don't want to disappoint! I was wondering when I was out there if anyone out there in computerland would see me. ;)

I was actually surprised when I saw you. Then of course I had to wait and watch it for a minute to see what you were doing :) hahaha

I've got a couple feeders in my yard and there are some real pretty birds that I get... But every time I try to sneak out to get a picture they all fly away - 1 of the downsides of having such a small yard - the squeeky door alerts them that I'm on my way out!

That looks awesome! I've got to ask you, do you have a hard time with squirrels eating up all your food? I noticed you have baffles on most of them do those work pretty well? I've been battling the squirrels all weekend.
