Does anyone have experience with this lense? I am trying to get past my beer budget days of Quantaray lenses.
Is it a good lense for shooting outdoors? Sharp focus, Quick,.
Thanks,
Rob

FlyingPete I am immune More info | I have got the original version of this lens, can take good shots, doesn't feel as nice at the real USM lenses such as the 28-105 though. IS works a treat though. Negatives, zoom creep, slow to focus, and rotating from element (no good with a CPL). Good for the $$$, but on my upgrade list at some point (hmmm 100-400L). Peter Lowden.
