Went to the Cloverdale Rodeo yesterday. My first time at one with a camera. C&C appreciated.

Bravo! They're all good, I don't know where to start... #1 looks like the ground was doing a decent job of providing fill light to see under the cowboy's hat. #5 is funny and painful; the horse's face is priceless. #6 is a great ending to the story. Well done.

Thanks everyone. Anybody that thinks rodeo is cruel to the animals obviously has not seen still images of the athletes on them! I managed to get a few more processed, here's a couple more.

#2 is funny because the spit flying from the bulls mouth looks like a lasso.

Is the Cloverdale Rodeo here in the Northwest US or in SW BC? Guess I could google it.

EDIT: Ahh, it's about a 3 hour to 4 hour drive for me (with customs). I'll keep it in mind for next year. There's still plenty of rodeos goin on in Western WA. I'm planning to come up for the Abbotsford Airshow this year though.

Maybe we should have a POTN meet up at next year's rodeo.

I was contemplating the air show as well. Only problem is the 3 hour freeway lineup each way....
