Im no pro AND these are snapshots just taken about an hour ago fooling around with higher ISO's so i wasnt serious about the frames or composition, but here is my Daughter at 1/160 f/3.5 ISO 1600 natural window light and NO PP

Just a general thought for all of the pictures here, reducing the picture size obviously reduces the noise that can be seen. So, I guess higher ISO isn't so bad if you're going to print a smaller photo but at 8x10 or so I'd bet you could see increased noise depending on the situation.

Then again: in print the noise will probably show less then when pixel peeping a 100% crop ;)

One at 1600, the other at 3200, through plexiglass at the Columbus Zoo. The 1600 shot is cropped heavily. No noise reduction, just what I got from the resize. I rarely use flash :)
