I would like to suggest that you try lowering the exposure in the face only and perhaps increasing the contrast in the face (the Clarity control in ACR) to bring out more three dimensional appearance in the face. Yep, I thought so too. The difference is subtle and easy to go too far. You have the most important piece of information in that you know what the picture needs to look like.
