are her teeth naturally that white or did you touch them up in photoshop?

also, maybe i would use a slightly smaller aperture to get the DOF a little bigger. kinda bothers me that her bottom lip isn't in focus, but that's just my preference. nice picture overall.

Very little touchup...just added a touch of brightness and a little blur to make them a more even white. But yep...she definitely keeps 'em white!

Thanks for the comments!

The teeth are TOO white IMHO. My attention gets draw right to them, and not the eyes. (which are beautiful BTW)

After looking at it again, I agree... I took 'em down a bit and smoothed out a couple more details... better now?

I wasn't sure if I'd like it without the lines...but I gave it a shot...thanks for the advice. A little healing brush later...

What do you think? It still looks completely natural, right?

seeing as i know what the picture was like in a more "original" state, no, it doesn't look natural. but that's probably just because i'm focusing on the forehead, trying to find hints of editing. bias sucks.

The teeth look better now. If you could reshoot it, I would say increase the DOF to get her whole face in focus, vs just her right. Having both her eyes/eyelashes in focus (IMHO) would look better. I do like the background blur (Bokeh?) though.

True, true...that's how I felt too, until I looked at the original again. I really like the edited one much more after seeing the original again...

And yes it does look like I retouched it a bit, but I don't think it looks overdone, do you guys? Still getting a feel for it. I don't think it has that dreaded "plastic doll" look that reeks of overprocessing.

Pretty wife.but I agree with trebuchet, who said DOF would have been better suited with her entire face in focus..
