I could have used a fisheye when we were there a couple years ago - I never did get around to assembling the panorama from all those 24mm shots I took for that purpose.... The kit lens just doesn't quite cover this spectacular vista. Canon 20D; Pair of Canon A570is in stereo rig; Olympus OM-2.

I found this to be about the best time of day...no need for any GND filters due to shadows and highlights. jscotti wrote in post #5558526 Great shot. The kit lens just doesn't quite cover this spectacular vista. Jim. To get full coverage of the river on both sides, you'd need about a 21mm lens (in 35mm or full frame sensor camera). With a cropped sensor camera, you'd need something in the range of 14mm or so. This shot was taken with the 5D and Canon 15mm fisheye.
