Did a bit of re-editing to a pic that I took some time ago. Something a little different than the standard view...

Great shot. I could have used a fisheye when we were there a couple years ago - I never did get around to assembling the panorama from all those 24mm shots I took for that purpose.... The kit lens just doesn't quite cover this spectacular vista.

Jim.

This was taken at about 2pm...we had just gotten back from Upper Antelope Canyon and stopped off on the way to Flagstaff. I found this to be about the best time of day...no need for any GND filters due to shadows and highlights.

To get full coverage of the river on both sides, you'd need about a 21mm lens (in 35mm or full frame sensor camera). With a cropped sensor camera, you'd need something in the range of 14mm or so. This shot was taken with the 5D and Canon 15mm fisheye.
