Well,

I want to say a big thanks to you all. I took your advice and blew my stash!

I now own a 1D MkII and an L of a lot of lenses... 16-35L, 24-70L, and 70-200L IS! plus batteries, 2x converter 580 EX and loads of other stuff.

That B and H was awesome. I have never had it so good! The wife just sat there by the exit and watched as I went crazy. Then, bless her, helped me carry it all the way back along 9th!

And the results... they are astounding. I have to use this site in secret now though as the wife sees you all as a bad influence. She's worried I'll be out drinking with you and getting into bad ways...

As if...

Me.

Tuh.

Tell your wife we are all too poor to drink. ;)

Good show on the new equipment. Sounds like a great setup.

Please post some links sometime.

Take care,

As my grandmother, may she rest in peace, would say, "You should use it in good health!"

Have fun!

Who wants to take the blame for 2x converter?

My wifes face when she saw the cost of the 400mm was enough to convince me to live with the 2x converter...

There was only so far I dare push my luck!
