I came across the Flash Ray ring flash adapter in a magazine and read a few posts on here regarding it.

I would be interested in it, however with the $300 price tag, I would have to then purchase another flash as it is not equipped to work/attach to my 430EX.

Is there a decent alternative to this? Something in the $300 range?

I would like to use it for macro work, but also for potentially setting up high speed flash for use in freezing skateboarding action.

Many thanks.
