You'll find over here in Australia countless thousands of show cars, many include Fords, have chevy mechanics behind them. ;)
I love this nation for it's interest and enthusiasm in motorsport :D

I reckon they are basically the same thing, we (Canon & Nikon) get along and we sometimes even have both kits. However as much as we might like, very few of us hybrid a camera with Nikon and Canon pieces ;)

Canon 40D, 580EXII, BG-E2N, RS-80N3 (Remote), Velbon Vel-flo 5 PH 248 (Tripod), Velbon RUP-43 (Monopod), Hoya CP Filters
Canon EF 50mm F/1.4 USM Canon EFS 17-85/4.0-5.6 IS USM, Canon EF 28-300mm F/3.5-5.6 L IS USM, Canon EF 100-400mm F/4.5-5.6 L IS USM.

Just what we need, nn EOS-1Ds Mark III with Nikon processors, to bring in all that beautiful high-ISO noise!

No. They're more like ford and chevy. Maybe like toyota or lexus... at best.

Leica and zeiss are the mercedes of the past. Not the current compressor ****

A BMW is a "cool" car only in the north america, in reality it's "meh"

You haven't been around much I take it.....

Someone mentioned JD Powers initial quality reviews.... well you'll not like this then

The good news, Canon Printers do much better.

I don't like talking about brands.

The consumers are much more fun. Most buy their tubrocharged sport cars and slowly drive around a little circle in their back yard.

They freaked out when they see a scratch... and the car is a status symbol and after getting one, you believe yours is best and anybody who disagrees should be argued to death.

You won't race it. You won't take it to the limit, but you'll sit around the forum arguing about horsepowers, torque, add-ons and whichever comes from 0 to 60 faster.

Don't confuse people who spend tons of time on forums arguing about things with people who actually do things. Forums do not reflect reality. Just because we respect (well usually) the laws of the highway doesn't mean we don't take them out for a run on the track from time to time.... or on the way to the track.

I think the difference is there are people who like to argue about what is better, and those who go out and just enjoy what they have, what ever that may be. Could be a Canon, could be a Nikon... or a Porsche or a BMW M... or an AMG, or a vintage Honda or chevy fixed up.
