Personally, I prefer #2 more... I feel that the crop of the buildings in a landscape format is very sharp looking. I also enjoy seeing more of the sky behind the buildings...

i think i'd like something in between the two, in terms of composition. 1 shows maybe too much and 2 not enough, mostly because of the sliver of building on the right side. too bad you didn't have a nice blue sky with some cumulus clouds, that woulda looked good.

i played with the perspective in photoshop and i think it looks nice... and my jpeg save messed up the IQ
